Reading Film Theatre Leaflet Design

This design was created, yet again, for a coursework project. It was to create the cover and full leaflet for the Reading Film Theatre– a private cinema on campus. It was planned to be a sophisticated design yet an attractive one also. The contrast between body text, a clear hierarchy and the colour coded background produced, in my opinion, a strong graphic product. Being a piece of information design, of course legibility was priority in the readers understanding the leaflet, so this had a strong input into the design, always hovering at the back of my mind.

Chelsea Flower Show Exhibition Stand

This design was part of a group project with two other course-mates. It was to design the exhibition stand for Chelsea Flower Show 2009 on behalf of the University of Reading to display the Plant Sciences Department's findings and research. Of course, having nationwide visitors, including the queen, it was a very important and publicized event, so lots of opinions were given to arrive at this final result.

The below is a scan of our appearance in the local Reading newspaper. Pity they spelt my name as Trigg rather than Twigg though:

Magazine Cover Design

A recent cover design for a magazine project. We are to design the cover and inside spreads in a consistent style. I feel that I have created a fun and creative design that is continued within the spreads...you'll have to take my word for that.

RIBA Work in Progress

A design that is currently in progress for a poster to promote the RIBA's (Royal Institute of British Architects) yearly conference, titled Good Clients = Good Architecture. I used a graphics tablet to hand render the image to give an original, eye catching approach. The poster is to be produced at A1 size so a high quality image is key!

Web design

The following show a few website proposals that I designed and coded that were never made live. These designs were more of personal interest than briefed jobs. The first shows a design for a cross country biking club in Essex and the second shows a design for a classic car website.
